Is ECW back in business now?
No, ECW is not back in business. The ECW that you see on WWF TV is just for the purposes of the invasion storyline. ECW as a company went bankrupt earlier in the year, although the WWF has now purchased the ECW name, logos etc.

The WWF bought out some of these contracts but the big stars were likely to get less money with the WWF, so they decided to see out the remainder of the contract and then decide whether to wrestle on or retire.
