When I try to install FARCRY from dvdrom, I get msg. says
"Error 1335, the cabinet file English.cab required for this installation
is corrupt and can not be used. This could indicate a network error, an
error reading from CD-ROM, or a problem with this package "

Anybody can help me with this?
I just bought Farcry dvd from ukgames and my platform is
abit IC7 mobo
P4-3.2G with hypertrading
Ati 9800 pro
2X256 corsair twin
sata 120 Gb hd
win Xp pro
and Im using latest drivers, but still cant make it work,I cant find
any support from anywhere,

I had a similar message once. I had to clean the disc and then try again.

Good point, I got Far Cry thinking it was the DVD version, but it was the CD version instead. It came with 5 discs, the DVD version I suspect will come with one.

I suppose he's just either impatient or stupid. Someone who asks other people instead of looking for help on the developer's website or contacting the developer is obviously an idiot.

Just checking you do have a DVD-ROM drive to play as it is a DVD-ROM game
