Some Forums have instant Graemlins which display you expresions wih cartoon simley faces, alot of people are doing this with text here :-) :-( but wouldn't it be much better if we could use the graemlins.

Does it make much difference?
It would be nice to have the actual faces, but we all know what it means when we see a :-) so does it really matter?

Nah keep it as it is as everyone knows what the faces mean and you can draw stuff when you are bored. With those symbol things you'd draw a gun or something and it would have a damn symbol in the middle somewhere.

I dunno, can't remember although I distinctly remember the post not making sense and I wondered if anyone would notice/care.

They wouldn't be bad but I don't think we should have othem added to the site. As someone has already said we already know what the faces mean so why bother changing it?
What jd99 means is if someone was drawing a picture out of symbols i.e :)(;(><< Someone might make a picture with one of the faces in it.

No. I find them immensely annoying for some reason or another..
nope, i also find them quite annoying. maybe a few but too many would just be annoying.
