Well I deceided to start a topic in here that I will place small questions on life that maybe some of you can answer and express your opinions.

Heres the first one (stupid really)

I am 15 at present and in the last 2 years I have noticed that life seems to be going much faster than before and to be honest I don't really like it.

When you were 8 an hour seemed like a day (present), now days just fly past with no meaning and to be honest I am feeling it to be quite depressing :)

So anyone else feel like this or is it just another insane attack!

Trust me when I say time will only get faster until you reach 80!

When u are working (hard) time goes quicker. Well that that is what i think.

When i was sitting my GCSE's last year the time went very quick, which was good in 1 way and bad in the other.

When i was working in Wales star attaction (Oakwood Theme Park) time flew.

During my AS Levels this year, time flew again and i don't want to go back to work now. God please slow next year down so i can do more.

Find a Uni. etc.

The time after any exam I've ever taken and finished early in seemed to drag on and on, but then it's not surprising. You can't talk or get up and wander around, at best you can entertain yourself with a daydream or rolling your pen around your desk.

Alternatively, you can spend the time checking that you haven't made an almighty hash of what you thought was an easy paper....

I've still got my GCSE's to go, do they take a long time to finish or do you have to wait what seems to be 5 hours before you can leave because you finished early?

It depends, the bodies perception of time passing can be influenced by other things, such as isolation for example.

Prisoners often suffer the effects of this, though it doesn't have to be physical isolation, it can be spiritual as well, interpreted as boredom.

When you're bored at work or at college, whatever, time appears to you to be dragging out. Finishing an exam early then having to wait until you can leave is a classic example of that.

How would you know time starts to slow down when you reach 80? For me this day has gone incredibly quickly but that's the penalty of waking up at 1pm!

Everybody feels that, a possible answer to this perception is that how your biological clock perceives time as it passes. Look at it this way;

When you are four years old, time appears to pass slowly. You have only been alive for 1461 days, so one year makes up a total of 25% of your life so far.

Compare that to now, you are fifteen years old, you have been alive for 5479 days, one year makes up a total of nearly 7% of your life so far, a smaller ratio than that of your younger perceptions about time passing.

The years appear to move past faster as your body clocks perception of the time a year takes out of your total life grows smaller.

This is speculation at best, but is sort of explains the phenomena. They say time flies when you're having fun, but as you get older it flies whether you're having fun or not.

I'm 28, the months and years are just rolling by.

Think about it next time you are wishing your life away to the next holiday/game release date, and be afraid.
