wowow only 4 months until the greatest story ever told is in the cinemas dont know what i am on about....THE LORD OF THE RINGS!! i have just downloaded the new trailer and wow it looks amazing!

I agree wholeheartedly, Lord of the Rings will be massive. Pity that we have to wait a year for each part.

For trailers go to www.apple.com/trailers (all in Quicktime format in case you couldn't guess).

While you're there you might want to check out Ice Age. It's an animated comedy set in the said period of history and the trailer is soooo funny. Pity it's not out 'til next Easter. The new Spider-man trailer is pure class as well.

I was reading an article on The Fellowship of the Ring and it has apparently been finished and seen in unedited form for the first time by the people involved in that sort of thing. They're currently deciding on bits that aren't going to be in the final cut and expect to remove around half an hour of footage, if not more (at least until the DVD version ;) ).

Even though I'd watch it no matter how long it was, given that this unedited version is 3 hours and 25 minutes long it may need shortening to draw in the less patient punters.

Think of it this way: between the three films it looks like we'll be spending around 10 hours in Tolkien's world.

These films are going to be big in more ways than one.
