My copy arrived on Saturday and I have to say, it's wonderful. Just defeated Kraid, probably one of the best Metroid bosses ever created. It really is genius, although perhaps not up there with the Omega Pirate, probably my favourite boss of all time.
Gameplay is perfect, graphics are lush, Zero Mission is awesome. Get it. Really.
>Is this the original Nes Metroid game re-done?
Yes, it is. However, there are some bonuses. When you defeat Mother Brain and escape from Zebes, your ship is shot down by pirates. Stripped of the Power Suit, you must find a way to take control of the pirates' ship and get off of Zebes. Furthermore, when you beat the game, you unlock the original Metroid game.
Do you think they're all the same one?
I'm guessing that behind the 6 or so names there's about 2 or 3 people...
and atleast 2 of them know each other personally.
Because although the original Nes game was quite good for it's time, the Gameboy one completely changed the game's image and mechanics.
Also, the games have a storyline nowdays. :-)
I'm nto going to ask anymore about it because I'll get it someday. :-)
