What do you think of pc games in DVD boxes?
i think its quite a good idea as they dont break as easily as cd cases but it was nice to have a cardboard box to go with it but not having the box does save the trees.
what do you think?

hopefully the gc boxes will be better than the rubbish cardboard nintendo 64 boxes.

I'm not exactly sure, but I would have thought so - i don't reckon they'd have poxy little boxes. The manual would have to be small as well.

There's probably pictures of probable GC boxes somewhere on the net, but who knows?

I just heard that eventually all multimedia boxes (bar videos) are supposedly going to be all the same. I just assumed that DVD boxes will be that medium, considering they're already used for PC, PS2 and DVD.

Surely the gamecube discs are much smaller.... so will they still be in DVD packs?

Barring the trees, it's the best idea since sliced bread! I've got a feeling that both Gamcube and X-Box games will both come in DVD boxes as well. There's an overall plan to create worldwide standard packaging and the DVD-style box has been chosen for that aim.

excellent idea , more compact but now we are using up more oil to make the plastic , so its a lose lose opportunity really.
