Anyone else started this again lately? I'm at the save just before Materia Keeper in Nibel Mountains. All my characters are LVL35. Forgot how damn good this game is.

I have loads of HP Plus Materia. All chars are now 9999HP and over LVL70.

Just got the Key to the City of Ancients. Booooring.

Is it still not working then? If its a disc read error, you could try leaning the PS2 onto its side, or standing it up if its already on its side. Also trying getting some of the dust out perhaps. I used to have this problem before I got a lense cleaner, but quite often the problem was solved with a little leaning.

thats just cheap and evil. i am going to have to get a platitum one or find a good one from e-bay. i have the original release so if i want a proper replacement i will have to get the same kind.

darn them all. or i could get a PS emulator.

The same keeps happening when I want to play Kingdom Hearts, there must be something wrong with square games !

umm, have a chocobo lure materia, have some greens, get into a fight on the chocobo tracks on the world map, chuck some greens at the chocobo to keep it there kill the other monsters quickly and once done you have yourself a chocobo. clever.

any way, i have just tried to play FF7 and apon inputting the first disc of FF7 i found out my PS2 cant read it!!! it just makes a funny sound and it sounds like the laser keeps on slipping and the disc is about to be eaten.
