Yesterday i was waiting all day for that "Deal Of The Day" which started at 7pm. At 6:59pm i kept refreshing the page and then it appeared and GTA:DP was the "DOTD" for £19.99, so i immediately ordered it but when i got to the checkout it told me i had to regester so i did and there was still stock left (not alot though). After i registered i went to order it again and then it said something like "You have successfully ordered you item", but i was expecting an e-mail with my order number.

Today i came on here and checked my e-mail, still no new e-mails, so i phoned them up and the guy said if i haven't been sent an order number the order wouldn't have been successful.

I dont know whether its my fault for not registering before or their fault for confusing me with my order. Now i have to pay a full-whack price of £35.00.

Simple to get the GTA double pack for half price. It just depends on Game's instore deals.

Quite often, Game have a "This game half price when bought with any title £39.99"

So here's what to do if you see that:

1. Buy any full price title and get whatever game they're offering for £19.99.

2. Under the 10 day returns policy, return the full price game and get your money back.

3. 'lose the reciept' and swap the £19.99 title for however much it scans up as on the till.

4. You get £39.99 game for £19.99

It benefits the store as they get one extra sale of that item (which actually helps the store reach its bonus) and you benefit as you've had an expensive item at a reasonable price.

Sure, its wrong, but when companies can charge £30 instead of £40 - and Game don't, then they're only getting their just deserves.

I used to have GTA: Vice City and the other one on PS2 but i didn't come close to completing any of them. I dont normally buy games that i've played before but these games are special and they're the only games that i miss now that i've got a Xbox.

Can't you just cancel? Surely you can get it cheaper than £30 if you look around.

To be honest, I've only played the DP once. I can't really be bothered going through both games again.

So you have to register for this new DotD then?

Scandalous...

The older one was better, just click 'buy' and you're away.
