I'm sure you've all heard of Phantasy Star Online, but are you aware that there were 3 Phantasy Star games on the Megadrive (as well as one each on the SMS and GG but that's not the point)?
Another popular Megadrive RPG was Shinning Force.
You may have heard that Camelot (Who programmed Mario Tennis) are working on a secret RPG for Nintendo.
When asked about the Shinning Force series, some Sega guy (sorry, I forget his name) said "Ask Camelot."
Are we to believe that a Sega RPG will come to the GAMECUBE.
Is this the much rumoured Sega/Nintendo RPG?

So it seems that Sega seem to be putting their best and imaginative efforts into the Gamecube with joint games and original titles like Monkey Ball while making a bit of cash converting old games onto the other systems.
It's not fully proved but there's an indication of it.
Being a future Gamecube owner, I really hope I'm right :-)

The series is known as Shining Force.
You're right though, the first was called Shining in the Darkness.
Shining Force 3 was a Saturn release, but I think that Shining Force 2 was Megadrive - but I might be wrong!
