i dunno jak bout pal and ntsc and stuff so i wanna no- can i play pal games on an english ps2? cos ive just ordered a pal game and it will be pretty useless if i cant play it

cheers- im screwed then cos i think ive bought an ntsc game and i only got me an english playstation- so does anyone know how to convert youre ps2 to be able to have it region free?? cos i would love to know if there was a cheap easy way to do it

Like the others said,yes!If a game has the pal logo on it then it can be played on a European(that includes England of course) or an Australian PS2.If a game with the NTSC logo on it then it can be played on an American or Japanese PS2.

also i wanna no if i can get a converter for the ps2- so if i did buy another regions game- say from america- then could i put something in an english ps2 to be able to play the american game??

Yes lies, NTSC is specific to far more than just america, PAL is used in more than just the UK, I think the aussies might use PAL.

Brittish PS2s are PAL, the software is also region coded so that only european PAL games will work on them.

NTSC is Japan also :)

JAP is Japan.
NTSC is America.
PAL is Europe / Australia

PAL is the standard. NTSC is for Japan, America etc.
