I don't have a fast enough car to do the international A tracks but they say 2 hours and about 78 laps on each, oh man if you enter all of em you'll be there all week.

has anyone tryed these?

Any tips on how to get one?

I have done every endurance race on every GT game yet. I usually do two in one day and I never use the Escudo, as it takes all the fun out of it.

Has anyone ever lost or nearly lost an endurance race? I always find myself lapping everyone at least 5 times.

Doesnt it say in the manual for GT3 that if youre doing a really big race it wont record all of the replay for you?

I'm sure i saw that somewhere

(yes, i'm one of those sad lot that reads the manual...)

Actually, you couldn't! The PS1 didn't have the memory to record the whole lot - I think you only got the first 10-15 laps.

Wonder if they've sorted that on PS2? Not that I would sit there for ANOTHER 105 minutes... unless it had been a truly exciting race...

I remember doing the '2-hour' endurance race in GT2. It was supposed to be duration-based, not limited by a number of laps. However, I was feeling mischievous that day and decided to see if that really was the case. So, I jumped in the Suzuki Escudo and burned round the track as fast as I could.

Result? It wasn't really time-based, as the race finished as I crossed the line on lap 99, in 1hr 45mins. I haven't looked at the GT3 endurance races yet, but I wonder if that's still the case if there are any time-based races in GT3.
