I think i remember ages ago a European release announced but it's all gone quiet on that front. Awesome game though and i'd say it's the second best RPG on the PS2 after Disgaea. Cutscenes are amazing and action packed

30 hours of cut scenes but will definitley be the first game I get with my US PS2 along with Disgaea.

Where did you get the idea that it has 30 hours of cutscenes? There's no where near that much or if there is they're bloody good because i didn't notice 30 hours go by as i watched them

I have read it on IGN, NTSC-UK and a few other places.

There may be about 10 but definitly not 30, that's just dumb

IGN said that Namco told them there are 30 hours of cutscenes, but they think there must only be around 15 hours worth.

There sure as hell aren't 30 i know that. I finished it in about 80 hours and there's no way almost half of that was just cutscenes because i like to power up my characters so a ton of that was levelling

there is definately not 30 hrs worth of cutscenes..
i'm 20 hrs in and pretty far in the game...now unless all of a sudden the last quarter of the game is just one big cutscene...

even though the cutscenes are long...i like watching them and find few of them boring...unlike in mgs 2 and twin snakes -my god so many of them were just pointless conversations

Don't know what Twin Snakes you were playing but nealry every cut scenes was superbly done and the story was immense, just like it was first time around. Not only that but compared to Metal Gear Solid 2 there are 4 times fewer the number of cut scenes.
