Coming in a couple of months, Kevin Smith's new one
"Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back".

Basically all the characters from Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy and Dogma are back in one film.
Including many, many cameos.

And, for the sci-fi fans, Mark Hamill as a character called c0cknocker.
He has a light-saber bong fight with Jay and, in the net only trailer, he gets to say (BBC edit in effect here)
"Don't fun with a jedi master, son"

YES! Luke Skywalker swearing and being a total bad@ss!
All my dreams come true.
I've always thought, "If I were a jedi master, I would rule" and take nonsense from no man.

So, we finally get to hear Luke Skywalker say the soon the immortal phrase "Don't fun with a Jedi Master".

this movie will rock

JSSSB is probably fighting for the top of my "Films I want to watch NOW" list with Harry Potter.

Did you read the stuff on www.viewaskew.com about the test screenings? Aparently getting the best scores in Miramax history, which bodes well :)

Hmmm... anyone else think this is going to be huge and the money men will demand another New Jersey Trilogy film rather than bringing that trillogy (of five films) to a close?

There are loads of things like that. Harrison Ford started acting when he was doing capentry on the Star Wars set. The guy originally meant to play his character couldn't make it, so the director looked around and saw Harrison working in the corner, and picked him.

***Interesting fact***

You know that bloke that Dante and co speak to in Clerks about the innocent contractors on the Death Star!? Well he got a part in JSBSB because he walked into the store in Clerks whilst Smith was filming! Coincidence or what?

Check out

www.moviepoopshoot.com

It's a website by Smith, created as an homage to those sites that preview movies and slate them.
All of the posters in the forums are Smith.

Excellent stuff.

Ah, you've seen the trailers too.

This movie will be watched by you, me and about 7 other people here.
We will qoute the dialogue forever and that's a damn shame it won't rule the box office.

ANY film that has two monkeys dancing, dressed like Jay and Silent Bob demands respect.

"Who the fun are these geeks? They don't know us, who the fun says they can talk sheet about us? Fun that, Silent Bob, let's go kick some ash"

Jay and Silent Bob turning up at the house of someone that has been slating them in a forum..classic, classic scene.

Please, if you like comedies, if you like the idea of Luke Skywalker swearing, go see this movie.
Don't let utter pony like Tomb Raider make a fortune whilst this movie sinks.
