By the way, slipsteaming rocks. You can really notice it on the Test Course. My Camaro Race Car suddenly flew up to 380kph behind an XJ220 on a corner, but as soon as I overtook it struggled to do more than 360kph even on a straight.
Moral? Don't follow the best racing line and the car behind can't overtake.
It does seem a hell of a long time, and consequently I suspect that when Polyphony use the term 'render' in the context of GT3, they aren't just referring to the graphics... possibly the physics telemetry for the handling, too.

On that OPS2M DVD I'm sure it said one month to complete each car. But I think that was a mistake because in a previous interview with OPS2M, Polyphony said each car took one week.
Anyway, now that the core game has been made, Polyphony can spend more time on other areas of the game for GT4. But that's after their motorbike game....
