something like that.. i had the same problems a while ago with people hating me, regulars get treated better as a general rule. but some newbies are ok,

it takes a while and most people have been though the "newbie area" and now they kinda think HA i'm regular i'm better than you.

editing posts helps becuase if you make a spellin mistake ... you chage it

i would change my name every time you become hated until you find a decrease in dislike towards you then you have learnt.

PS: this won't happen overnight. it took me about a week to have people stop the numerous insults.

if you wanna try to be a better newbie :

spell correctly (nobody understands you otherwise)
don't start one word threads (everyone knows your newbie then)
only make threads if your asking a question or telling somebody something.
make your posts intresting,
