I've got my Flying V guitar! That is, I will by Wednesday.

Not a huge flying V fan - got myself a Les Paul with a sparkle gold finish (basically looks like it is covered in gold glitter). It is possibly the most beautiful guitar I've ever seen.

More fond of the old accoustic for day to day playing though.... I'm so not metal (and proud of it) ;)

C'mon Goatie, stop kidding yourself, us drummers also
attempt at the very least to;

Paradiddle, Flam, Play, say for instance sixteenths on a Hi-Hat, with a 4/8 beat - see guitarists we can just be as complicated, doesn't mean to say we're any good at it though ;)

Yep.

All this talk of drop tuning is making me confused.
Drummers dont do scales and chords.

We bash things with sticks, that's what we do.

Excellent

So you got a Fusion kit Goatie?

I'm not sure what Munky and Head tune the bottom string to, I know they're in A though, which is quite low, try it on a 6-string and it'll sound far too messy

That just means that the thickest string (E) is tuned down a tone - it's not as special as it sounds. For proper re-tuning powers you should try some of the seahorses stuff. It's a bit Hi-de-hi rock and roll in places, but Squire really knows what he's doing. Sometimes none of the strings are in their original tunings.

Not sure, I known that he and Wes Borland drop tune to D, but what the hell that means is anybody's guess.

If I knew chords and octaves and stuff, I wouldn't be a drummer.

I hit things and count to 4

It is. Perfect condition. I dont play guitar any more either. So I think ill keep it in the case till im 40. Give it the odd clean up as the years go by. And sell it on for a hefty profit.

That'll be worth loads if it's in good condition.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
