I give GT3 9 out of 10 because of two niggles

The us release has better music ie proper signed bands, Judas Priest, Lenny Kravitz,Motley Crue etc so why dont we have them.
There is no option to change music and sound effect volume which makes the sound quite awful

MP3s make such a drain on sys res it's unlikely any games will include it. They'll probably leave it with the graphical power of a 64.

Its a bit unfair that you downgraded your mark for the game as the music in it is not your personal taste. The designers think hard about the music for the games, think of Wipeout. What would have been a straight racing game became a club classic.

The bands on GT3, Feeder, Ash, Muse, Etc, are all very popular, signed, multi-album bands. It's not my personal taste either yet they fit the game neatly. It doesnt intrude on the sound effects or the gameplay.

The X-Box is rumoured to be able to let you store mp3s in the machine and link your personal jukebox to the games, giving you the sound you like. PS2 I am sure will also be doing this, with the event of on-line and the hard disc. Until then, though, just enjoy the game.

I think the music in GT3 is superb. A lot of happen to like punk/metal, it's just that far too many teenagers like pop.

yeah it's bad int it, what i do is have both music and SE in the game and when i win a race (yippee) i have the music only during the replay.
