fenerbache not a great team? they beat Man utd at Old trafford just a few years back. they were the first team to win at Old trafford in europeon competition in about 50yrs! RAngers have got a hell of a match.
I think Celtic have made big strides since sacking barnes and i hope and think they will beat Ajax and qualify for the group stages. We scots have become the whipping boys of European club football for years now and it is time for Celtic to restore a bit of pride. Rangers will again provide good entertainment for us , as they have been doing every season and i predict they will be out of the Champions league and Uefa cup by Christmas as per usual. There isn`t much money being generated for scottish football from tv rights and until the old firm become part of a euro league set-up they will continue to struggle at the top level and will find top quality players will turn down a move to Glasgow in favour of English clubs who are being bankrolled by sky tv.
I think that the Scottish teams will do better in Europe this year. Both Celtic and Rangers have strong squads and good managers.Celtic should beat Ajax and rangers should win easily.

Ajax are rubbish at the moment, and cannot find a coach or players that can bring back the glory years of old.
Ajax only just managed to get into Champions league this year, in a very 4 sided Dutch Division. (PSV, Feyenoord, Ajax and Roda now).
I believe that Celtic will beat Ajax just, and Ajax will sack their coach straight after the defeat.
Rangers on the other hand will have a much easier task. Fenerbahce are not the greatest team ever produced by Turkey. There are only two great International Players that play for them and they are Rustu (Turkey keeper) and Kennet Andersson (Sweden Forward).
