Nintendo has released new details on its upcoming Spaceworld 2001 event. There will be a press conference on Thursday, August 23, 2001 (a day before the official start of the show). The press conference is scheduled for early afternoon and will be held at the Tokyo International Exhibition Center "Tokyo Big Sight"


Nintendo Spaceworld 2001 will begin Friday, August 24 with the first day open to media and trade only (hours TBA)

Saturday, August 25, and Sunday, August 26 will be open to the public.

The main event will be held at Makuhari Messe/ Nippon Convention Center in Tokyo.

I have relatives in Japan, and we visit them every year. This year, we are also going to Japan at Spaceworld time - how d'ya get in?!

Yeapo. I have heard there is a GC with your name on it, sad thing is, its pink.... Nintendo don't normally like to hype things, but even they are calling it the biggest ever spaceworld!

I know for a fact that Sega are going to have a large presense there. I think this is going to be one of the biggest Spaceworlds in a long time.

Damn, I think it would have been great to go along with someone who knows about as much about Nintendo as me... oh well... if (please) I go, I will take many pictures and video some games, and upload them onto my site the same night before IGN, hopefully my old Eidos pass will get me into Spaceworld on the 24th! No reason why it shouldn't work!

Thank you very much Grix, apparently my dad knows a hedgefunder who has a trip to Japan at around that time, this was to see if the dates match because if they do.. I am going to SPACEWORLD!!!

Now Grix, you refused my last offer of E3, so if you pay, do you want to come to Spaceworld?
