So...
We have all seen millions of games in the shops, and on Interent sites, of games that aren't out ofr up to another year like the GC games, and although they already look just as smoothe and as good as PS2 games, they have another half a year in development!
But, we all have played demos, read previews, seen screenshots and information about upcoming games!!!
We would all beable to write a 1000 word review on them easy wouldn't we??
Well I think that SR (although I don't know if they have one already) should make a section for previews that we could write, with a list of games that are soon to be released? They could write there own, and have screen shots and estimated prices and pre-orders!
I think this would be a great idea, the previews written by us could get GAD wins as well as reviews, cheats, and discussion topics! What do you think of this idea and do you think that most people would be able to cope with things like writting previews on games they haven't actually played but seen info and screenshots on??
Well I do, and I hope that this could happen in reality! In fact, just to get things started I think I will write my own preview now...
...well, I like playing bmxing, skateboarding games, also RPG etc. So a game I am looking forward to is Dave Mirrar Freestyle BMX 2!!

It will be more realistic. More intense. And more face-mashing.
You are shooting up the half-pipe, hurtling skywards, twisting you bike until it is paralell with the ground to pull a Turndown for fat points. But you are so busy ogling the way your body contorts in mid-air to pull the trick off, you lose concentration and bail.
You r rider kisses concrete and blood splatters across the ground, all over again. It doens't matter though, because you guy gets up and he is ready to risk life and limb again within seconds.
The thing is, the bikers look just as good crashing to the ground as they do pulling off spectactular, and the detail of the skeletal animation is one of the first things you will notice when you get to play Mirra 2. The tricks and combos pulled look amazing and you can see back bends, wrists have moved and so have his ankles making everything look perfectly realistic, and makes things look hell of a lot more painful when he grinds his knackers.
I just hope that the gameplay is as good as the graphics and shots. And that is what the games are all about...core Gameplay.
For this game to try and escape the shadow Mat Hoffman cast over the PSone original, Mirra 2 rams even more interactive objects and trick oppurtunities ino the landscape. This means there will be more half-pipes to launch yourself off, more lanterns to smash, letting pull of extreme stunts like never before, using the game's unique modifier button. So it looks like it is going to bea much more intense experinece.
Mirra 2 should also give you more of an Urban feel to the action and the streets should have a busy buzzing feel. What is also new is that you should be able to stop and often have a chat with other bikers that you see roaming the citym and they I think will give you new and fresh challenges to beat to clear that stage. So a bit like mini-quests really?
So This game looks, slightly more complicated in the control and handelling system than it did before, but makes you look like a real pro, also being able to use some sort of a trick modifier. And I have heard that this game should have a knuckle gnashingly steep learning curve, this game is currently being developed by Acclaim Studios and published by Acclaim, it is out on the PS2 in September and I can not wait until that day!
