BUT! The Jap DC WAS £200... and then was lowered after poor sales... it's a weird example...

anyway £150 is about right... think about it.. none of this plays DVD stuff etc

The GameCube could theoretically cost £150, however well still have to splash out for a game, a pad, and a memory card aswell so that will bring the cost up to £200.

Still I expect Nintendo to keep the price down to compete with the Xbox and PS2. The success of the GameCube will be its games, its not that powerful in terms of its specs but that wont matter because Nintendo is looking at the big picture theyre making a games machine and it will have great games.

Im looking forward to Nintendos next 64bit machine. :-)

Wow only 150 that's what I call a bargain! I wonder how much 'Special Reserve' will sell them for.

My guess 135 pounds!

I'm not sure what the Gamecube will cost.

It will range from £150 - £200.

The magazines are leading to us believe that it will be £150 or lower (including unbiased all format mags) based on the conversion of the Japanese price.

However, the Japanese price of the DC translated as £120.

Unless Nintendo are better at exchange rates than Sega and Sony I suppose it's going to be the usual "$200 must equal £200" pricing.

Here's hoping that Nintendo are severely scared of the PS2 and Xbox and go for a super competitive price :-)

Winning is hard. You have to write very good posts, and pray to God that er-no and the other notables have broken fingers, or something.

As I look deep into mt crystal balls (steady...) I see you are destined never to win GAD unless you change your ways. If you follow the path you are on it will transform you into one of life's losers.

Is this the official

Yep, I've been telling people that all along.

Why am I replying to this?? Because no one listens to me when I say it, so perhaps if I post it in reply to FM's post, people will.

Don't expect to win a game straight away, i've heard that it can take ages to win one. Good luck on winning one, you'll need it. : )
