Yep I finally got the original and i really like it I found it difficult at first but soon got use to it it is great fun

Heh, I know what you mean about PS2 owning mates loving Super Monkey Ball.

All my PS2-owning mates want to play Monkey Ball when they're at my house. That or Mario Kart. And instead of any PS2 games I own. Yup.

Me Dad likes Monkey Ball.. I think it's the simple controls. Not too much for his old brain :)

Ahhhh I cant get my parents of SMB1, they just cant get enough of Monkey Target! But i still whup them at it, when i play :P

Monkey Ball 3 has to have:

More minigames/updated ones. Not keep all the Monkey Ball 2 ones, but classics like Monkey Fight and Target *have* to stay. Boat Race and Tennis can go, they were boring.

New minigames.. any ideas? Monkey Slalom would be good.

More cutscenes. But less of the EI-EI-POO.

Controllable camera. I know the simplicity of Monkey Ball is an asset, so if they choose not to let you C-Stick control the camera, a better game-operated one should be used.

Anyone else got some more ideas?

Monkey Ball 2 is overall better.

Monkey Ball 3 should be good. They have been working on it longer.

I think Monkey Ball 2 got stupid towards the end.. some of the levels were just too random, like the one where you had countless numbers of switches, and only a random one let you out.

Still, all the minigames on the second were great, and the levels on the whole were more imaginative, and colourful.

Monkey Ball 2 is certainly more forgiving, almost infinite supplies of monkeys if you have enough credits. Still, the gay cutscenes were laughable.

I have Monkey Ball 2, and from what I've heard its easier, but there is more to do. I still think its excellent, though.
