"Useless waste of space... please replace me with a new cookery section".
Anyway, as I discussed with Wookiee Monster a few days ago, they seem totally against the PS2, giving it no respect at all. They have jumped aboard Nintendo, and seem afraid of the future. So far, only a few games have managed 4/5, and thats the highest they`ve been. Red Faction was one of these, and Digitiser actually said that they were surprised, and forced to give it a 4.
Well, in the next few days, they`ll have to review Gran Turismo 3. I have already lost almost all respect for them (though there was never much there), and from talking to Wookiee, it seemed he had too. I am giving them a chance to redeem themselves. If they give GT3 4/5 or less, then I will never go there again. If they give it a 5, then I`ll think about it. However it`ll also depend where they put it on their best games of 2001 list. They have already reviewed excitebike 64 and given it a 5, so if they give GT3 less, or put it below excitebike, then like I said, I`ll never go there again.
It`ll be interesting to see, and it`ll be fun to read their review. They`ll probably try and make it lose marks for originality (fair enough, but not 20% just for that), or maybe the smaller number of cars (150+ not good enough? stupid!).
Anyway, enough of this, I`ll probably miss the review anyway, due to extended play on the PS2. I`m giving it a rest period at the moment, so that it can cool off before being turned on continuously for the next week :-)
