The Xbox Sniper Rifle and Silent Scope pack from Gameplay due out this Friday! After receiving a barstuard email about Ninja Gaiden I thought I would go all out for something that looks incredulously sweet. I picked up Manhunt as well last Friday, enjoying it as I did with the PS2 version, very similar feel to the original Hitman, a pure out and out stealth game that is quite simply one of the most enjoyable games I have played in a loooooooong time. The Xbox version is conisderably sweeter with the Dolby Digital and improved visuals, not only that but the controls have been tweaked and the controller works very well with the style of game.

Totally different game, just made by the same company (not sure if it's the same team as the GTA team though).
Is Manhunt like an expansion pack to GTA : Vice City?

Too many people saw the Rockstar logo and the certificate rating and before even playing it said it would be crap. Those with half a brain gave it a try for long enough to get past the initial warm up style gameplay.

Sniping is fun, but not as the basis of a whole game.
Meh. I liked Manhunt, don't get me wrong. I even considered picking it up last Saturday when I grabbed TOCA 2, something held me back though. I reckon I will end up getting it, it's just a matter of fitting it in with the rest of the games I have/will soon have!
Make your own mind up about Manhunt, the review on Gamespot is one of the most accurate reviews I have ever read, 100% spot on. In my opinion one of the better games released in the last 6 months and a sure purchase, then again I love stealth games and it really is the cloest thing to Hitman in terms of style.
As for the rifle, *Ross voice from Friends* COMEEEEE ONNNNNNN. It does look like the mutties nutties and Snipering is muchly fun even with a standard controller.

I'm guessing you'd recommend Manhunt then?
I recently got rid of the PS2 version partly because of the controls. If you say they've been improved, I might just pick this up again...
As for the sniper scope, I doubt I'll be getting this. Not too into gun games anymore.
