Yes thats right you read correctly I need a Graphics Card. Prefereably I would like one that is mid range and will play all the games or most of the games coming out this year. I want it to be cheap as well im running on about nothing a month due to my lack of money problem. So Mid Range and will play a load of games.

Discuss I even left the topic with a nice juicy insult you can throw at me for some of the more *Cough* imaginative people on the forum.

If you are definitely going for a mid range card, you need a Radeon 9600 Pro or XT, perhaps a GeForce FX 5700.

I had a look at some cards and these all seem decent:

Of them, I'd go for one of the Radeon's. I use Sapphire 9600XT graphics card in one machine, and can strongly recommend Sapphire cards. However, if you can stretch a bit further than that, you can get almost twice the performance, for an extra £50 or so.

Again, I'd still pick the Radeon, it is the better performer, but the FX5900 is still a good card and better than a Radeon 9600.

That is a quick run down of the cards. For a limited budget I recommend a 9600 Pro. Nothing less than that, or else the performance just will not be up to scratch.

In the style of the Guv from Time Gentlemen Please "never confused".

Anyway, I got a Radeon 9600 pro for £100, a decent 3D card a decent price and it manages to run Far Cry and UT2004 with little to no problems at all. That would be my recommendation anyway.
