I had a look at some cards and these all seem decent:

Of them, I'd go for one of the Radeon's. I use Sapphire 9600XT graphics card in one machine, and can strongly recommend Sapphire cards. However, if you can stretch a bit further than that, you can get almost twice the performance, for an extra £50 or so.

Again, I'd still pick the Radeon, it is the better performer, but the FX5900 is still a good card and better than a Radeon 9600.
That is a quick run down of the cards. For a limited budget I recommend a 9600 Pro. Nothing less than that, or else the performance just will not be up to scratch.
Anyway, I got a Radeon 9600 pro for £100, a decent 3D card a decent price and it manages to run Far Cry and UT2004 with little to no problems at all. That would be my recommendation anyway.
