These are still saying 'TBC' but in this months OPS2 mag, its got the prices down as £40 for the Network adapter (this is pretty much what i expected) - it says the US price is $40 as some of you may already know.

and the HDD is down as £200. ($200 for the US - this would - in a fair world - work out to £160-ish for us)

£200 is too much to expect alot of people to pay,
this isnt going to be widely accepted by the public if it stays at this price. I know people are speculating that it'll be around £100 - $100 for the US, but is it likely the official mag was £100 (or $100) out, just 4 or 5 months before its release?

What does everyone else think? Is that a fair price? Do you think you'll still buy one? Was online play your thing anyway?

WIll be interested to see though ....

I don't really see the attraction of online play. I have free internet on my PC and some good games that can be played over the net but I hardly ever do. Why in that case would I want to spend £240 plus a monthly fee so that I can download a couple of extra tracks for a racing game or a demo.

Nah, for the immediate future I could not care less about internet gaming, whether that will change or not when FFXI, Socom and GTN arrive I don't know but it has got to be at least 3 years till I may be tempted to part with my cash.
