Are there enough differences between Red Faction and Quake 3 Revolution to get them both?

Thanks. I will have the money cos I've got a 6 week summer job before I go to Uni that'll give me £1200 and as I've got no rent to pay or stuff like that I'm buying a PS2 with some games (including Quake 3 and Red Faction). Unfortunately the way I spend money my entire wage packet will probably be spent on PS2 related stuff.
Quake 3 is brilliant when you've got mates round and Red Faction can bring you pleasure when you are on your own.
I would certainly buy both but its up to you.

I agree - I've played Quake 3 briefly - Thought it was ok. I've borrowed Red Faction from a mate for a few days and i really like it- it's something a bit different.
If you can afford both, i recommend buying red faction and then buy me a game with the rest of the money.

Quake 3 is an out-and-out blaster, Red Faction requires a bit more brain power.
Over all, I think Red Faction is the better game.
