ok when I had my pages ending in .htm there was no problem, but since adding PHP and changing these pages to end in .php the problem began.

In Links, you can link to other areas of the same page, like:

...and link to them using the # and then the name ...

Top of Page
Middle Of Page
Button Of Page

... this worked fine before, but now if the pages are a .php one, it brings the error page... does anyone know why??

Thanks in advance for any help .. :o).

not sure if this will work but apparently you can mix php with html and it works so if you put yer original links back in they should work as php ignores the html but doesnt stop it working.

This answer was inspired by a Magnum Icecream.

Umm, yeah, I seem to remember having a problem like this. Try putting the links as "page.php#top". I found a way of sorting it out but I can't remember how.
