After seeing the Final Fantasy X footage on this months PSW DVD I was gobsmacked. I thought that the graphics were amazing.
Just hoping that it will live up to the hype and feature bigger locations than in the previous games.

And one more thing. What would u like to see in Final Fantasy 11????

I would love a linking story line.
Would a hero (or heroine) once they have completed one mission to just stop?
Think of Cloud (from FF7) just retiring. one thing films and games say is that you can never totally get rid of evil.
I think heros would look for adventure even if the story line twisted and (for example) materia sent them to a different dimention the story should continue.
I think its wrong to say 'right I've completed this game lets forget a really good character',and try to make a new one from scrap that may turn out rubbish.
So I think yes there should be a linking storyline. and no I dont think it defeats the point of new charaters because you can introduce new characters and kill off old if they become boring.....But thats only my opinion.

Stranger, you are absolutely right. Despite having all Final Fantasy games that came out on Playstation nothing can match playing FF 7 for the first time. And today I have played it for about an hour and it was brilliant as usual.

In my opinion FF 8 and FF 9 are better in certain ways but if you want REAL atmosphere, head straight for Final Fantasy 7. Infact I might consider buying FF7 on PS2 when it comes out!!

Cant wait till FF 4 on Playstation.

Just saw the footage on the DVD today....wow !

What would I like to see in FF games ? Well I'd like something to recreate the experience of first playing FF7 on the Playstation all those years ago. Me and a friend played it in turns for over two months to its completion. 8 was okay, 9 didnt appeal so I never bought it. 10 - well I can't see how it can fail.

Is the FF10 footage really that good? I bought the mag cos I'm getting a PS2 in a couple of weeks, but I don't have a DVD player, so I can't watch the free DVD. I also got a free DVD from HMV when I bought Kengo for £20.

Well on-line gaming is already included in FF11, so I guess I would like the plot and character development to be as good as it was in 7 and 8, I didn't like FF9's plot and character development.

10 had better be bloody good!!!!!!!!
