I can't see this being anything other than a flop. Shame on you EA!
Having read it, the idea is a nice twist on the bond theme, but the flamboyant cash-in use of the Goldeneye name is just shameful! :-S

So, they've tried to squeeze all the bond baddies they can (the article mentioned a bunch of others too) into a stupid plot,
Which hinges on a pathetic pun ripped from a movie title.
Someone at EA needs to be given the sack. Or kicked in the sack. Or put in a sack with a bunch of weights and thrown into the ocean.
Obviously it's still possible that the gameplay won't be wunk, even if the concept is the most wunk thing you'll ever hear in your life.
But I think it's fair to say it probably will be.

The game will have at least one redeeming feature; it's got Scaramanga in it.

Agent Under Fire and Nightfire were complete disasters. Even if it is good, this is going to tarnish the GoldenEye name, despite having nothing to do with it whatsoever.
