i have been trying to help a friend install a game where they have been having trouble, i told them to update they're drivers and so on, but then after a computer restart the resolution went down and everything went big. so i then told them to do a system restore, which was/has not been so succsessful. i tried it once before on our speaker system because they failed to work and it seemed to bring them back to life. after is reseting itself the computer failed to get further than a black screen just after the windows xp loading up bit with the green line going accross. is there any known way to solve the problem?

not cm4 and did try to cgange the resolution
the other thing to try was the colour, it was 16 but you couldnt change it as there was only that choice, so i needed a way of getting it back.

This is probably a stupid question...but...did you try changing the resolution back before the System Restore?
