Started playing it today after completing Hitman Contracts and I gotta say, I forgot how excellent these games are.
The 3rd level knackered me out it's so intense. That one level is probably more intense than the whole of the first game put together. Once you get to the base and have to protect those choppers so your matey's can get on board, you don't have a minute to breath. So many fooking Iraqi's running at you from all angles, then there's the stupid amount of Tanks that keep rearing their ugly heads.
I managed to save all the choppers from the filthy Iraqi pigs. Then the guy told me to evacuate as there were lots of dudes coming my way and they weren't looking to borrow some sugar. So I make a dash for the exit point when some tw@t of a tank appears from nowhere and takes out 2 of my guys. Me being the amazing soldier that I am *ahem* decided I had to go back for them, but with no RPG's and not much health it was a bit of a suicide mission. Anyway I got one guy to cover with his M16 as the other guy covered the tank with smoke grenades so it couldn't see sheet and then medipack the cripples on the floor. Somehow I managed to pull it off, even though I had half the Iraqi army chasing me, god knows I sighed a relief when the level ended.
Excellent stuff, I'm off to lie down now.

However, I prefer CDS1. The co-op was way better.
