there has been great hype about halflife 2 i myself am eagerly awaiting its arrival ,but do you lot think it will be worth the wait as games coming out now have everthing it is boosting, i think with all the hype it needs to be something real special for us to spend £40 on

Recently Gabe Newell apologised for the delay of the game from September and attributed the HL2 delay to bad scheduling rather than the leaked code a few months back. There's already been some brand new screens released, all looking very good indeed and I hear there will be another new video showing off the game at this years E3, though no playable version.

It's shaping up to be a groundbreaking game, not unlike the original Half Life back in 98 so of course it's on top of my list of must have games (Even if I'm slightly more looking forward to STALKER right now) and I don't know where your getting you game from inpain, I haven't seen Half Life 2 priced over £30 and have mine on pre-order for £25.

It's going to redefine video gaming. Simple as. The leaked demo I've got is jawdropping in itself (faces and facial expressions for a start) and the final product can only be better. I just hope they release it when it's ready, and not a "oh, that'll do" version.
