Speculation: the Gamecube will be launched in February.
It will cost £160. These games will be available at launch.

All speculation. What's the point in that though, as it can only lead to disappointment. Speculation turns to fact. Rumour turns to fact. If the Gamecube is now not released in February people will say that Nintendo have done something wrong, that they've delayed the launch, when in fact they've yet to be any more specific than Spring 2002 for a European launch date!

Speculation: Sonic could be in Super Smash Bros:Melee, There might be a Mario game available for launch.

Again, more speculation, but to me this is different. If rumours are leaked about games, then people will stay interested in them, they'll keep watching for the news, waiting to see if Sonic will appear, to see if Nintendo are hiding a Mario game. This keeps anticipation at it's highest, and is important to the success of the console.

So people, try not to speculate to much on the when and the how much, all will be revealed in good time, think about all of those wonderful games that are on the way, thing about what they could entail, what they might play like, get excited by them, and talk about them.

It's what the forums are for afterall!

I don't know. Speculation can be good though. The PS2 benifitted from it.

You were all so quick to throw the stones when Wonderboy posted that 'let battle commence' topic, but now? Nothing!

I'll be first to say that it's an acceptible post, and i agree with the sentiments of it.

Now tell me where did you get the information I need to know who the insider is at nintendo of japan, please you must tell me this is no joke.

I have to know NOW arghhhhhh. Lies, lies all lieeeeesssss. Where did i go wrong, iknew we needed more security, iknew we needed to keep the Gamecube underwraps for longer. All lies, now we will never use our powers in the gaming industry to take over the world nooooo!!!!

*Shiggsy bends down and kneels on the floor. Tears begin to stream down his face as he puts his hands on his head and grips his hair. He looks into the sky and starts screaming why, why as if he expects to be answered. Suddenly a hole appears in the sky and a ray of bright sunlight shines through, Shiggsy feels his weight leaving him as he is elevated into the heavens.*
