Well I just browsed the Codejunkies site now seeing as most other games sites are going down and noticed that Datel have discovered that the entire game has English for everything as well as Japanese.
With the Action Replay codes, you can actually view the translations instead of the Japanese text (as opposed to as well as).
So apparently, the Japanese version of Pikmin 2 is playable in full English on UK consoles!
Seperate memory card is needed though for Japanese games.

Same here - Too many games coming out soon - too many games shown at E3 - My wallet will be warm from friction for quite a while...
