It was revealed on Game Network (223) that a biologist has discovered a new fungus which actually grows on CD's. This fungus grows on the CD and breaks them down, eventually rendering the CD useless. The biologist said that proper care of CD's should prevent the fungus from growing on the CD.

They didn't say. The only thing they mentioned is that the average life span for a CD is 10 years.

Are you sure you don't mean 'toes' instead of 'CDs'?

I dread to think what the crumb covered cds that live under the computer are like..
How do you take good care of CDs anyway? Apart from keeping them off the floor and sans crumbs.

Don't use them as coasters for cup-a-soups.

You get all bits that dry and go all horrible on them.

Urgh!

They make good coasters for coffee though, I've found. Throw them at cats like frisbees too.
