Turbonutter says:
Matsushita is the Japanese name for Panasonic.
Bonus says:
Yeah, they just trade under the name Panasonic in the west
Turbonutter says:
Yeah, so they don't own Panasonic, they ARE Panasonic,
Bonus says:
Tax dodging Gamecube loving slanties!!!
Turbonutter says:
Yup.
Bonus says:
They do own panasonic, they have set it up as a seperate company.
Turbonutter says:
Have they? I thought they just traded under them.
Bonus says:
Tax dodger I tell you.
Turbonutter says:
B******s.
Bonus says:
Ha, hope Ninty get sued for it!!
Turbonutter says:
We should report them.
Turbonutter says:
That would wipe the smirk off their Ninty faces!
Turbonutter says:
God, I hate them. Oh, BFG has written an interesting post in the "For er-no..." topic.

Nothing on the PS2 which looks better than MSR, Shenmue or F355????

Turbonutter says:
Yeah.
Turbonutter says:
Me.
Bonus says:
People are refusing to understand the way Shenmue was made
Turbonutter says:
Explain?
Bonus says:
Nah it was Dan2k1
Turbonutter says:
I'm talking about someone else.
Turbonutter says:
What's this about Shenmue?
Bonus says:
Right Shenmue had parts of the game which could have been FMVs like at the start
Bonus says:
When your dad got killed
Turbonutter says:
Mmmm. OK
Bonus says:
But they used in game graphics
Turbonutter says:
Yeah.
Bonus says:
But they spruced up the textures because you aren't able to see anything outside that room
Turbonutter says:
Yeah.
Bonus says:
When you play the game, the character model looks much worse
Turbonutter says:
Yes,
Bonus says:
If the game was to be made on the PS2 scenes like that would be FMVs because the PS2 can have MPEG2 FMVs at a much higher quality then in game graphics running at any given time
Bonus says:
So that isn't an accurate comparison.
Turbonutter says:
Yeah.
Bonus says:
The in game graphics of Shenmue aren't as good as the likes of Extermination
Turbonutter says:
No where near.
Bonus says:
And the FMVs on the likes of Kessen are far better than anything I have seen on the Dreamcast.
Bonus says:
But people don't seem to take that in.
Bonus says:
Shenmue on the PS2 would look much better than on the DC.
Bonus says:
If they used FMVs
Turbonutter says:
Because they are ignorant and have been brainwashed. You and I are differant because we can understand the facts and draw or own conclusions. Everyone else just recycles other people's interpretations and they are 98% wrong.
Bonus says:
Yep
Bonus says:
But if I was to post that as an explanation on the Forum, they would kill me.

How closed minded do you want to be? You silly Sony fanboy.

No FMVs? That's a good thing - WE DON'T NEED FMV's because it looks so impressive anyway - the ingame graphics are stunning, so why don't you go and eat some Multi taps?

Look - I'm dead in the afterlife with my DC, stop slagging it off.

Good night.

The ingame graphics are good, but not as good as what has already been done on the PS2, and those little story sequences could be done the same on the PS2, or they could be done in a much higher quality with FMvs, no bother.

WHO CARES? The fact that the game ISN'T on PS2 is clearly having an adverse affect on you. "but not as good as what has already been done on the PS2"

Shenmue was created in 1998. So what you on?

Don't by any means think I am being superfluous, I am just "taking a day off work to reply" to you.

It isn't really, because I didn't really like it. I own a DC, so that couldn't be the problem either, but you did say that nothing on the PS2 looked better than Shenmue, MSR and Ferrari F355, and I disputed that comment. That's all.
