4000 stars.
Was worth it for me as I still enjoy Pokémon, despite the "kiddie" image.
In which case, Animal Crossing has never been delayed.
At least it's not some godawful t-shirt ior summat, and I could use the memory card...

Pokemon then. 1994 - 1996, I believe. Probably longer.

Explain to me how this makes a difference.

Then howcome no other games suffer from this? Lazy plocalisation is what I call it.

It was effectively cancelled, as they said they had no plans to release it. It was only after a huge demand (which should have been unecessary), and almost a year, that they decided to release it, after many people spent various amounts of extra money to import it.

Except it means you can't get Japan and America only games such as Giftpia or NCAA College Football (Which I want very much). Even though there would be little demand for them over here, we don't even get the chance to buy them. That is hardly fair is it?

The longest delay of a Zelda game was from May to December... but that was because they don't release games during Summer and it'd be a Christmas title. To make up for it Nintendo REALLY localised the game with local sayings for each country.
higher prices (Turok £60 on release)
That was the price worldwide at the time.
> lower framerates (Wave Race)
That's because of the PAL system, not Nintendo.
cancelled releases (Animal Crossing),
Not cancelled, released in September.

True, the best way to counteract importing is to release Games over here faster.
So, yes, I used up 4000 stars and got one.
Stars Catalogue is difficult to complain about though, because it's not like we really deserve anything. Actually scratch that we do, after decades of maltreatment by Nintendo (Zelda, one whole YEAR after Japan? Excuse me?), higher prices (Turok £60 on release), lower framerates (Wave Race), cancelled releases (Animal Crossing), and bans on imports.
We deserve as many free games as they can afford to give away, and more.
Yes, unfortunately, they're only giving that away.
I'd like some proper stuff like collectable crap. Figurines - good ones, keyrings, that kind of thing.
Third parties seem to do more of that on the Stars Catalogue than Nintendo.
