I don't like the fact that you can only catch 50 pokemon, and the pokemon don't even evolve. Plus you don't actually get to travel the pokemon universe like in the GBA games, you have to use some kind of transporter to get to different areas, so from that I asume you can't battle or catch any wild pokemon either. I was expecting a full on pokemon RPG, basically the same as the GBA games but in 3D, but Colleseum looks a little dissapointing.

I didn't enjoy either of the Stadium titles on the N64, so unless this is something very special, I'll be staying away from it.

What Mav said, and the initial video's I saw (although quite old now, they seemed to show the direction the game was taking) seemed to point to it being Pokémon Stadium with high-res graphics.

It is basically Pokémon Stadium Ruby/Sapphire (and I assume compatable with Leaf Green and Fire Red)

The story mode is a little...different.

Definately not intended as a 3D full Pokémon game.

That's what we want...with a Stadium extra mode!

Yeh. Linking Leaf Green/Fire Red works too.

And, children, if you own Leaf Green, Fire Red, Stadium, Ruby *and* Sapphire, or if you have a kind friend who will let you nick his best 'mon, you can complete your 386 Pokédex. Except Mew. And Celebi. And Jirachi. Which, incidentally, you can get free when you buy the latest Pokémon film on DVD.

Great games, but such a money-spinning franchise.

Not that that's at all bad for Nintendo.
