I am sooooo disappointed with my PSone screen. I bought it for 100 bigguns on my birthday in march and could'nt wait to try it out in the field (on the way to Manchester). The only problem is the screen is toooo small and there ain't enuff pixels to be able to make out any text. I felt sick sittin in the car tryin to make out the terrible lack of detail. Another thing is the lack of colour adjustment, try playing fifa on it, its just a mass of green, u cant pik the players out. My other playstation games are a management game (gr8 more text to not be able to read) and Who wants to b a millionaire (not me, I can't even c the 1st question Chris) I am now tryin 2 sell my screen so I can buy a GB Advance which I hope will be betta and suit my long travellin needs!

As long as you have a reciept you can take any goods you have bought back to the original shop and get a full refund as long as the goods don't do what they are made for.

The screen is ment to be able to allow you to play your games whilst on the go.

However you said that you can't make out much on the screen so therefore it's not doing it's job!
So take it back, and if he wont accept it tell him you will contact the British Trading Agency, the Office Of Fair Trading, BBC Watchdog, CBBC Shortchange and the local authorities for selling dodgy goods!

Well then there you have it. Everybody who has wrote to you has said to take it back. Keeping it will be pointless as you are not satisfied with it. If you do decide to take it back you should get the full £100 back that you paid for it, with that money you could buy the GameBoy Advance and a game of you choice. Also tkaing it back to the shop will save you the hastle of trying to find someone else to buy it off you, and they probably wont want to give you £100 for it anyway.

I'd take it back on the pretext that it says it can play games. Surely a breach of the Trade Descriptions Act 1973?

I would take it back to the shop and complain that the product does not meet a satisfactory standard, if they refuse, start a big argument and ask to see the manager.

I concur, my nephew got one of the add-on screens for the PSOne for his birthday. For £100 he could have got a portable TV that could just as easily hook up to the cigarette lighter in the car and sit on the back seat with it.

Naff, total waste of two monkeys. Tried playing Nemesis on it myself and it was so dark, it was totally unplayable.

I agree with you i think that the psone screen is crap, i wasn't unlucky enough to buy one but i have played on one. I think that i was really complete waste of time bringin it out, not to take any thing away from the quality of the original playstaion. I dont think that you will be disappointed with a GameBoy Advanced they were made to be portable and all of the games are made especially for the smaller screen. You may find it hard to find a buyer for the psone though. If you have a recipt why dont you take it back to the shop where you bought it from and try to get your money back, then you can spend the money on the Game Boy advance.
