It certainly looks great, but will it be the best platformer ever?
Naughty Dog thought so anyway as the used many of it's best features to make a template for the original Crash game.
As for Jax and Daxter, as good as it looks I find it ironic that so many PS2 fans are raving over it.
Sure I like it, but I don't go round slating cartoony platformers as kiddie games. It's in a very Nintendo stylish sort of way. Naughty Dog had the exact ideals on how to make a good platformer like the idea of making it as big as worthwhile as possible and that sort of thing.
Best platfromer ever? Possibly for now but I'm certain that Nintendo and Rare are more than capable of bettering it...

The best platformer ever was Sonic 3.

I disagree. Donky Kong 64 was AMAZING! It was huge with 5 very different playable characters(and two bonus ones), it was jam packed with minigames and puzzles and the graphics were amazing. Rare did it again.
The best platformer ever was Sonic 3. Nothing will ever beat it.

Obviously you`ll have the demo then! Whaddya think? I can`t stop watching it. The music is great, it looks fantastic. I just hope it plays as well. If it does, then it could be the game of the year. Unless they manage to bring out MGS2 before Xmas.
