Note the "(Standard Edition)" after the title. Any ideas? Do they mean a version for people that don't have Xbox live, or something like that?

There's going to be a special edition 'tin case' version, with extras

There's a platinum edition that comes wih a making of DVD and that kinda stuff.

Standard Edition for me then.

Do play.com take your money straight away when you preorder, please say they do.

Hmm... tin case sounds intriguing.

And it at least won't take up space in my DVD racks - I don't want to buy a fourth...

ooo! do both versions come out at the same time i assume? how much will the one with the extra features be? £50? it'll be interesting to see how they did it and all
