many games have tried to make the giant leap from a console to the big screen that is the movies.and they didnt quiet make the jump, they had a long run up but wernt good enough to make it.
these games include street fighter, mortal combat and recently tomb raider.
one of the reasens for them failing to entertain is the fact that yes these games are popular but i have never met any one who likes tomb raider games (the only bit people like is lara),some people liked mortal combat and street fighter, but not many.
would it not be a better choice to choose a game that is just amazing like tekken,or metal gear solid.
i have to go now but il finish this post later or tomorrow-keep your eyes open

metal gear solid is almost a film as it is, it has a great, edge of your seat, twister of a plot, fantastic characters each with an indepth history and that feeling of true perfection.
it would be good if it was direct by the guy behind the matrix.
who would make a good solid snake?

Surely the point of MGS is that its starting to breach the gap between fils and games. It plays like an action film, what would be the point of turning it into an action film?

I feel it would be best left alone!

As should all beat 'em ups, they don't work as films!
