I have £30 to spend on a hub.
I also happen to be clueless as to what I actualy need to buy to link together 4 XBoxes.

Depends on if you want all 4 Xbox to use Live or not, through a single shared connection.

A hub and a cable for each box is enough for a LAN, but for internet sharing you need a router.

As a standard guess, I'd say you want a switch.
