How do I go about it, there are no audio inputs on the back of the PS2, and running it through a VCR I assume will activate the copy protection. I have tried using a scart I had for PS1,which had audio leads (un like the one that comes with the PS2) but this plays the DVD'S in green, although this is an un-official lead, is that the problem?
please help!

If you are using the optical output then It will probably be quicker than the scart to your Tv.

i just use the cable that came in the box. Plug the S-video into the scart plug then into the back of the tv. Then plug the 2 audio plugs into your stero, sub, amp or whatever.

oh when i'm recording onto my minidisc deck, why does the sound reach there 3 seconds before you can hear through the tv output bit?

Get region x, it will get rid of the green. Get some surround sound or a home cinema system and you will get some good sound.

The coolest ISP ever!
In my opinion, the ISP is the best I have ever used. They guarantee 'first time connection - everytime', which they have never let me down on.
I am delighted.
Brilliant! As usual the careful and intuitive production that Freeola puts into everything it sets out to do. I am delighted.
