Aha the second in my promised series of posts Namco have at last said we are now mates with the big N and are ready to make at least 12 titles for Gamecube!
They never liked Nintendo they made erm that rubbish Micky mouse Tetris game and that was about it really for a while but eventually we got hold of probably our best racer Ridge Racer 64! There was hope Namco would finally release maybe Tekken or the long awaited light gun game Point Blank but nope nothing!
Well as N64 magazine put it they have jumped back into bed with Nintendo and now they say we will release any up to 12 Gamecube titles and also Tekken for the GBA! Oh joy although nothing has been announced I will eat my hat if we don't get Ridge Racer after it did so well on the 64 and with 11 still to be accounted for i'm betting on Tekken an Point Blank to be among them! Indeed this could be good for Nintendo!
A decent Driving Simulation game is something we have been lacking so has a light gun game and other than smash brothers we don't really have a good beat 'em up! Namco could be the answers to all out prays! It has been along time since Nintendo ruled the beat 'em up side with Street fighter and Killer Instinct but with the rumoured Killer Instinct 3 and Namco's 12 promised titles the Gamecube's line up could be very rosy indeed!

So what? Tekken is just a 3d game where u can doge into and out of the background... which could be done in a 2d games anyway! Same with Virtua fighter and many more... only DOA2 and maybe Sould Calibur really warrent 3d gameplay.

its all good. The N64 didnt have many good beat em ups. Only really fighters destiny and Mortal Kombat 4. But nothin really outstanding. Killer instinct gold was a bit of a let down, so hopefully Rare are working on a quality KI game for the GC.
Yep me too well actually i prefer Dead or alive but that aint Namco!
The only thing i want from Namco is a Tekken game or Soul calibur 2. Not flippin ridge racer.
