Newcastle United will have to work hard for UEFA Cup qualification after being handed a difficult semi-final draw.
Bobby's side could face Bundesliga opposition in TSV 1860 Munich, if they win their quarter-final tie against Belgium side Lokeren.
I could not believe my eyes when i looked at the teams that were playing in the Cup, teams such as Paris St Germain, PSG had been in the 2nd pharse of the champions league last season and had Ankela who was scoring for fun last season. How can a team such as PSG go downhill so fast.
Luckly for all English Teams taking part they will not meet PSG, as they would probably wip all the english teams into shape.
Like I said Newcastle may face 1860 Munich if they get that far, Aston Villa will have to face Rennes if Villa can win in Croatia.
In my opinion both English Teams should get through easily but Newcastle will have the toughest test.

I dont know I mean ever since Wimbledon appeared in the intertoto cup I dont think premiership teams take it that seriously or not - There again West Ham did incredibly well last year so if Newcastle can get it together I cant see they will have any problems, as well as Villa!!

I am not particularly fond of newcastle but I have to admit they should get through as for villa they'll qualify but I think they'll only just survive in the Premiership.
