These posts that will appear over the next few days are about individual games developers and what their attitude was and now is to Nintendo (You never know I might be able to get a game for one). This one is about Capcom (Duh)and so I shall begin:
The N64 is a quality console but lacks in 3rd party support and one of these developers go by the name of Capcom. This company has been a key figure during the rise of the Playstation in the form of Resident Evil. The N64 though did enlist the aid of this giants in the form of REsident Evil 2 a classic game but Sony got their hands on 4 Resident Evil titles and so Capcom could be accused of being one of many developers and were only giving the N64 a taste whilst Sony received a mouth full.
Well I believe this is about to change and not without good reason one being Resident Evil 0. The Nintendo only title first slated for the N64 but shifted over to the Gamecube. This shows that Capcom hasn't deserted their Nintendo owning fans and with Resident Evil 4 confirmed for the GC makes me think that maybe the Resident Evil series will become a permenant resident to the Nintendo camp. The original Resident Evil is also rumoured for to be a Gamecube title and heavily advanced as well.
My other reason comes in the form of two new releases The legend of Zelda Oracle of Ages and Seasons. N64 magazine called it the best 2-D Zelda's ever and even gives Majora's Mask a run for it's money. Well done Nintendo, but of course Nintendo didn't make it, oh yeah Shiguru Miyamto played an active roll in its development but it was mainly made by Capcom.
So there you have it Capcom have comitted themselves to the Nintendo cause now if only we can get our mitts on Devil may cry...

I doubt that DMC will go on to the gamecube but you never

erm no i'm talking about Nintendo have managed to get developers making games for them again not leaving sony! i did not say this nor did i attack sony in anyway. We are egtting Resident Evil 4 and the Resident Evil beater Eternal Darkness oh and Too human!

Yeah I've been playing the N64 version of res2 for a few days now.
Capcom can now make their Resident Evil series and other games come alive with the arrival of 128-bit consoles.
But, taking a look at the N64, Capcom may not have brought out many games for it, but they certainly made an effort with the games that they did bring out. I mean Resi Evil 2, was a massive games, coming on two playstation discs, but Capcom was able to fit it all on to one N64 cart, and if I remember rightly, a 512MB cart. And their were extra features and better graphics aswell. They certainly made an effort, didn't they.
Capcom are a brilliant 3rd party developer, and always will be, and the fact that they made such an effort for one game on the N64, shows they're devotion.

resi evil fan i'm talking about how Capcom are returning to Nintendo with making Zelda and Mickey mouse games as well as the Resident Evil games now a permenant feature on the GC!

If you go to capcom's excellent web page www.capcom.com and look at the list of games on each format, You'll see the PSone has the best and the most. Every part of the Resident evil series is on PSone and PS2 and capcom have always favoured Sony.
Sega did however get code veronica due to the hardware need to play an amazing title like that, I mean this is joke if they wanted to put this on the PSone. They're repaying the debt to Sony and giving the PS2 CVX which is near enough the same but with some more FMV's and extra plot details.
Sega also Still have the Battle mode in the original Resident Evil on the saturn which is the mother of the subgames like hunk,tofu,mercenaries and has Wesker as a zombie whih proves that he died in the first one.
In wesker's report he says he injected himself with a virus and let the tyrant attack him haha yeah right i mean why did he go "what, NOOOOOOO don't come this way" anyway enough for now but i think it's bull.
back to Capcom the resident evil games have spread onto other consoles but gamecube are getting their own exclusive game called zero and a GBA version is in production.But to be honest capcom are mainly on Sony's side with Onimusha,Devil may cry,Resident evil,street fighter,mega man,breath of fire and loads others.
And yes i've seen pictures of Resident Evil one with up to date graphics and Mamma Mia
