Earlier today I was leaked the details of the just recently released Game Boy Advance successor. It appears to be being developed in conjunction with jungle.com. My source tells me that the name is already confirmed. It is, wait for it, silence please, cue drum roll, Gameboy Active!!! On page 25 of the latest jungle.com catalogue, I have one that came with my SR mag this morning, it said the following.

"...Enjoy PC games,PS1 & PS2, Dreamcast,Nintendo and Gameboy, watch out for X-box, Gameboy Active and the Gamecube. We'll keep you informed of what's happening in the gaming world, whilst offering the "hottest" deals on everything connected with this fast paced world.

Trust jungle to change the way you play!"

There we have it, Nintendo are already at work on a successor to the GBA, only 18 days after launch!! It is obvious that this was not meant to be released to the press for some time as this press release is not complete. Is this the first connection between jungle and Nintendo? For a first time collaboration this one looks promising. And we all know where collaborations can lead, just remember Sony and Nintendo and the proposed CD add on for the SNES. It became the Playstation after the collapse of the alliance.
Gameboy Active I am claiming to be your first fan. I will try and wring a release date out of my sources at jungle and Nintendo for the GB Active. Keep waiting on further announcements!!

Well, well, well. Who doesn't even know what the latest Nintendo handheld is? JUNGLE.COM - THAT'S WHO!

Oh my, oh my. What a bunch of misinformed/dumb/unknowledgeable plonkers ay?

I think I saw an advert for the Gagboy once... but that might have been in a different catalogue.

(Ooh err.)

I thought the successor would be called the SUPERGameBoy, after all Nintendo dont want to make naming games to hard for those big developers!

Definately a mistake! Jungle.com is hardly the place to reveal brand new consoles before anyone!

I'm sure they've misinterpreted the word "Advance" for "Active" - you never know, the geezer writing the catalogue may have been drunk...
